Mr David Sturgeon, CEng, MIChemE, holds a MEng degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde. David joined Doosan Babcock as a Graduate Trainee in 2004 and currently holds the position of Senior Engineer within the Combustion Systems Design & Development group of the Global Boiler R&D Centre. Based at Doosan Babcock’s site in Renfrew, Scotland, David has worked on the design, development and demonstration (on Doosan Babcock’s state of the art Combustion Test Facilities) of a wide range of combustion related technologies including pulverised fuel (coal and biomass) burners and carbon capture.
