Dr. Albert Reichl graduated as a process engineer and wrote his doctorate in Thermodynamics at the Technical University Berlin. He has over 20 years of experience in process engineering and is an expert in his field of carbon capture. He began his career in 1994 at Höchst AG (later Axiva, then Siemens AG) in Frankfurt as Head of Lab, Distillation and Phase Equilibria. He then moved on to the engineering department and worked as project manager of projects concerning chemical plants such as polymer and pigment production plants. In 2009 Albert moved to the field of Post Combustion Carbon Capture and has worked there as a project manager for engineering projects ever since. He has managed various engineering studies, acted as technical CCS expert for a Carbon Capture Mongstad concept study and managed a FEED study together with Masdar for a carbon capture plant in Abu Dhabi. Albert’s mother tongue is German and he speaks English fluently.
