Ron Gagne has recently retired after 42 years from Canadian Pacific. His last position was Director, Track Systems. Ron joined CP in 1972 while still in school and worked on various track gangs for 8 years before taking a position in the CP Engineering department after graduating Summa Cum Laude in Computer Science from the Herzing Institute. He has been involved with Track Measuring systems for more than 30 years and an AREMA member for 20 years where he served as Committee 2 chairman and currently completing a term as Director in the Engineering Services functional group. Ron lives in Calgary Alberta and is a passionate skydiver having done more than 1030 jumps and is a co-record holder of the largest All Canadian Skydiving formation ever done with 102 people.
