Patrick Halsted has been with the Union Pacific Railroad for nearly 24 years. In those years he has held a variety of positions in signal construction, environmental management, facility project design, public projects and civil/track construction. He is currently the General Director of Construction with a territory responsibility for the entire UP 23 state system. In this position he is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of all new track, civil and building projects. Patrick holds an undergraduate degree from Northwest Missouri State University and a master’s degree from the University of Nebraska- Omaha.
