Carlo Luzzi is the Manager of Rail Transportation for the Port of Long Beach. His professional career at the Port of Long Beach began in 1988. Mr. Luzzi currently manages all aspects of the Ports Railroad Oversight and Operations. He has over 27 years’ experience in the field of civil engineering and rail industry. He is a member to the Alameda Corridor Operating Committee in overseeing all aspects of the corridor oversight and operations on behalf of the Port. In addition, is on the Port Rail Oversight Committee overseeing the daily rail operations of Pacific Harbor Line which is the Ports Short-Line Railroad Operator. He has been an active member in the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance of Way Association (AREMA).
