Shaun Bates, P.E. is the Engineer Manager for the Accelerated Rail Program at the Michigan Department of Transportation’s Office of Rail a position he has held for three years. Shaun has worked for the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) for 13 ½ years, where he has served as a project manager, a construction engineer, and a geometric engineer. Before coming to MDOT, Shaun worked at Patriot Engineering and Hillsdale County Road Commission. Shaun is a licensed engineering, and Civil Engineering graduate of Tri-State University.
