Alex Lawrason is an Associate Vice President with HNTB Corporation, and has been an employee with the firm for 15 years. Prior to HNTB, Alex was a field engineer with Mowat Construction for 4 years, performing bridge rehabilitation and retrofit. Since joining HNTB, Alex performs project management and resident engineering work for assorted bridge and railroad construction monitoring projects including rehabilitation, reconstruction, seismic retrofit and hardening. Notable bridge and transit lines include Steel Bridge (Portland, OR), Golden Gate Bridge (San Francisco, CA), Walt Whitman and Ben Franklin Bridges (Philadelphia, PA) and Port Authority Transit Corporation, PATCO (Southern NJ and Philadelphia, PA). Alex is the project manager and resident engineer responsible for construction monitoring and inspections services for the subject project on behalf of DRPA/PATCO. Alex lives in southern NJ and is a registered professional engineer in CA.
