Mr. Lorek is a regional railroad program leader for HDR in the Cincinnati, OH office. He has over 17 years of experience in the inspection, design and management of various types of railroad structures and rail infrastructure projects. He has comprehensive railroad engineering experience that includes railroad inspection, track and bridge assessment and design, rail corridor valuation, industrial development, construction management, maintenance programming, and capital investment planning. He has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and is a professional engineer in multiple states. Mr. Lorek is currently a member of AREMA Committee 15 – Steel Structures
