Sean Robitaille is the Transportation Engineer for Canadian National’s Network Operations Group and is based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Since 1996, Sean has been employed at CN in the areas of Track & Roadway Engineering, Safety & Risk Management, Signal Systems Design Engineering, Network Capacity Planning / Service Design, Motive Power Planning and Transportation Engineering. His current responsibilities at CN include train and motive power performance, train marshalling design, derailment analysis and new operations analysis. Sean is also the Chairman of AREMA Committee 16 (Economics of Railway Engineering and Operations).
