Melissa Holland is currently directing approximately $600 M in capital projects for BC Hydro, and directed over $1.0 B last year. She has managed this level of capital projects for several years and worked extensively to shepherd these projects through the complicated regulatory requirements, and environmental and community approvals needed, including extensive work with Canada's First Nations. Previously she directly managed some of BC Hydro's largest projects and has been involved with feasibility analysis and planning for many of BC Hydro's transmission lines. As a manager, she has had day-to-day responsibility for all aspects of projects, including schedule control, cost control, design approval and change order approval.
