SURTEX 2019

MHS to introduce new artist John Keeling

Artist John Keeling to make debut at SURTEX

MHS Licensing & Consulting will be introducing artist John Keeling at the revamped and re-energized 2019 SURTEX at the Javits Center in New York City, February 3-6.

“We are thrilled to kick-off the new year with the introduction of such a talented painter,” says Marty Segelbaum, President of MHS Licensing & Consulting. “John’s artwork has broad appeal and will be perfect on a multitude of products making his library ideal for many of the manufacturers we’ll meet with at these pivotal winter shows.”

John Keeling is drawn to the transparency of watercolor. He is able to capture the essence of his subject, be it the fragility of a delicate flower or the devoted gaze of a beloved pet. “Watercolor’s elusive and unpredictable nature make the medium both a challenge and a delight”. John continues, “I seek out both lost and found edges and intentionally balance controlled definition to draw in the viewer.”

John’s fresh watercolor style has broad appeal and is available for licensing on greeting cards, stationery, home textiles, bath ensembles, bedding and more. As a former creative director for Hallmark, John knows product development and consumer appeal.

In addition to new artist John Keeling, MHS Licensing & Consulting will also be introducing new images from their already successful and highly sought-after artist brands at Atlanta Gift Market and SURTEX. Collectively their proven art properties generate over $120 million in annual sales through their licensee partners.
