In 1960 Attorney Clarence B. Jones was recruited by Martin Luther King to spend the better part of the next eight years working with him as his principal advisor and one of his closest confidants. Today Dr. Jones serves as the First Diversity Visiting Professor at the University of San Francisco and scholar writer in residence at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Research and Education Institute at Stanford University. In 2008 Dr. Jones wrote his first book reflecting his thoughts about what the outspoken civil rights leader would say about some of the serious issues of today.
