PROTOTYPING

Our engineers, programmers, and designers are available to customers for the development of strategic projects, innovative production cycles, 3D modeling, and prototyping activities.

GFM offers an integrated service, in a fully digitized environment, starting with the mathematical model and ending with the finished product.

The first phase involves a careful analysis of the customer's production process and its innovation requirements. The prototype is then designed and digitized to assess its feasibility and estimate costs/benefits.

When designing a new product entirely by digital means, it is also necessary to study of the production process, which is fundamental to optimize the tool paths. The kinematics of multi-axis machine tools are digitized and tool paths simulated for an additional check before the actual production.

Finally, we manufacture the equipment necessary for production ourselves so as to completely control the final result and to maintain the level of error to a minimum.

A recent addition to our equipment is a 3D printer for molding ABSplus thermoplastic. This helps us minimize the time and cost for prototyping, and yet guarantee precision and accuracy of the output.
