    The Field Practices Committee uses the combined experience and knowledge base of the industry in upgrading the standard of practice regarding the design and installation of LFG management systems.

    1. During Q1 meeting at SWANA Palooza:
      1. Robert Butler approved as vice-chair
      2. Jessie Han approved as YP Liaison
    2. Mike Knox wrote 2019 I AM SWANA article for committee
  4. Status of Manual review
    1. Received edits from several members (Andrew Kluge, Ken Brynda, Keith Johnson)
    2. Discussion to combine manual efforts with Extraction and Control Committee
    3. Need to confirm purpose/scope of manual
      1. Not intended to replace other training manuals
      2. Focused primarily on safety
  5. Objectives – Still need volunteers to lead these efforts or assist
    1. Continue review of Manual of Practice; combine edits
    2. Coordinate manual update with Training & Safety Committees
    3. White papers
      1. Hydrogen Sulfide in LFG – Mike Knox volunteered to develop
      2. Operation of high temperature wells
      3. Odor control

      1. Gather, summarize and publish various safety metrics concerning safe operating practices
