Traditional MSW collection and operation management with static data is no longer responding to the communities' and business’s needs. During this presentation, comparison of the traditional and dynamic-smart MSW collection and operation management approaches will be discussed with case studies of European and Asian municipalities and businesses. While the key elements for end-to-end smart MSW collection and operation management approach will be explained in detail, the speaker will also share his suggestions about how to transform the current smart management systems with proper implementation of different smart devices within range of trucks to workforce.Therefore, after this session, the participants will have a sufficient understanding of the MSW service providers worldwide and how technology can be implemented for their operations. With different case studies and examples, insights about how waste collection sector is shaped in different parts of the world will be provided to the participants.
