This session will cover the reality of Security, why security is in place, getting security involved early on in the process. Security is the last ones to know anything of operations plans, and often gets blamed for the lack of preparedness. This class will cover how this was addressed, and to have process in place to streamline the department and keep Security informed in real time. We will cover experiences over the years, things they said never would happen is happening. In addition we will cover lessons learned over the years, what other properties have done to bring their departments to current times. We will talk about experiences and challenges of opening a major property, and cover the important essential elements of hotel security.
