This course will provide an overview of a real critical incident that occurred at a Southern California Tribal Casino in 2018 in order to improve leadership response and preparedness to a critical incident. The presenters will examine and review closely the initial response, incident command, law enforcement partnership and recovery. In reviewing and studying this incident it will help develop a stronger understanding of the first responder role, how to collaborate with the responding law enforcement/EMS personnel and what the processes are for short term and long term recovery.
