Participants will be provided an overview of the process and procedures for implementation of, review, and approval of Self-Regulation requests from tribes under the new guidelines in 25 CFR sections 518. Participants will be able to: Identify the reasons for applying for self-regulation of Class II Gaming; Recall the process and procedures for applying for self-regulation; Understand the requirements and time frames associated with 518; Recognize the benefits of a successful process.
