BP is investigating the benefits of condition monitoring of subsea equipment using products provided by Subsea Production System suppliers. Current three trials are in various stages of execution on BP operational assets. The purpose of the trial is to determine benefit or value of these products in general and also in the differentiating aspects of each suppliers solution. The presentation will identify lessons from the trials to date and provide BP's perspective on condition monitoring in the near future.
