Financial statements do an excellent job of telling users what has been received and spent; however, financial statements do not tell users what has been accomplished with resources provided. Some say program accomplishment is not an accounting issue, it is part of a broader issue of accountability. This session will address the past, present, and future of accounting and accountability.
