Solve challenging retaining wall and slope problems with a thorough understanding of the limit equilibrium (LE) approach documented in the 2016 FHWA-HIF-004 report and other relevant approaches to designing geosynthetic-reinforced retaining (GRR) walls in special conditions including tiered walls, limited space walls, back-to-back walls, corner walls, and piles within walls and assessing the stability of reinforced slopes and embankments comprised of layered soils, inferior backfill, or complex reinforcement layout, and subjected to water, external surcharge, or seismic loading.
