We all know that the crop insurance world has become saturated with different types of insurance products covering many different types of risks. The recent years of great yields and significant price swings have left a lot of bushels unprotected by MPCI policies. In this session, I will give my thoughs on what options I think will best maximize the risk management that insurance can provide for 2019. As a producer you should have the say to "protect what YOU need to protect". I will also touch on how crop insurance is and should be considered a part of your risk management strategies during the crop year.
