Lucas Tschuor & Bernd Zimmermann, Sensirion Inc. // This session discusses the basic principles of Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), and how indoor and outdoor sources of pollution such as Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), and Particulate Matter (PM) in combination with ambient temperature and relative humidity affect the air quality in residential and commercial buildings. It reviews the technologies available to monitor and control these parameters, which ultimately results in improved health, comfort, and productivity.
