This session will present the technical description of the Block Chain technology and how it supports distributed trusted transacations between parties that are previously untrusted. The objective is to, through a survey of available open sources, discuss the most current state of this technology's capabilities, its shortcomings and vulnerabilities, and its potential. The session will also present the most current state of solutions leveraging this technology in various industries.
