Fabrication: The Dissection of Your Design (Room GWCC 312)

02 Oct 18
8:30 AM - 9:45 AM

Tracks: Construction Discussion

This program explores the process of dividing plumbing and piping systems into fabricated sub-assemblies, the impacts that schedule and design have on the process, and the tools necessary to build and deliver the components. Upon successful completion of the course learners will be able to identify the “low hanging fruit” in system fabrication, determine the benefits and drawbacks that fabrication can bring to a project recognize the constraints that can promote or obstruct fabrication, and understand the processes of spooling and assembly, and the tools required for each.
