What’s new in electrical safety? This session is for anyone who manages electrical work or electrical systems within a facility. We’ll discuss the changes to the recent 2018 NFPA 70E update, how they affect your facility, and how to navigate and implement the NFPA 70E standard for safer work practices. The regulations set forth by OSHA and NFPA 70E on how to protect employees from electrical hazards can appear daunting to safety managers. You’ll learn about arc flash assessments, preventive maintenance, IR thermography, lockout/tagout procedures and implementation of the new updates for 70E.
