This class is designed to give volunteer and rural engine company firefighters vital elements to increase their level of performance to achieve efficiency and safety on the fireground. The principles covered are based on engine companies that respond in rural areas where the challenges of nozzle and hose packages, water supply, apparatus set-up, and staffing affect fireground success.
