Engine company officers within today’s fire service face a multitude of challenges while leading firefighters. In many instances the engine boss is not given any formal leadership training and guidance to help them succeed. Lack of leadership results in dissention among personnel and failure on the fireground. This presentation will give the engine boss tools and tips to help them build and lead their firefighters to success both on and off the fireground.
