Preparing an Industry 4.0 Ready Workforce
As traditional industrial facilities transform into state-of-the-art complexes, manufacturers face an escalated need for talent that can work with innovative technology. Adopting sophisticated systems and engaging the right talent is no small feat, as many manufacturers find it difficult to make the Industry 4.0 leap and upskill their workforce at the same time. In addition to acquiring the right technology, several factors contribute to the hesitation for making the high-tech transition, including limited resources to implement a learning and development program, inability to relieve workers from the production floor for training, or uncertainty about how to get started moving into the advanced manufacturing space. In this presentation, our presenter will provide insights on the impact of Industry 4.0 and the latest manufacturing workforce research/trends, share best practices for developing a skilled workforce, and highlight successful collaborations between business, academic and workforce agencies in local communities.

Leading an Industry 4.0 Organization: Empowering a Cultural Revolution in the Industrial Revolution
As we are swept into the fourth industrial revolution, you want to be a company that comes out on top; but at the current pace of change, what we are doing today may not necessarily be the right things for tomorrow. Why are manufacturers big & small investing in Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) or smart manufacturing? How does it impact my production, my employees, and my ability to hire? For companies to be able to survive the industrial revolution, they will need a cultural revolution in their organization to empower both millennial's as leaders and Gen Z as they enter our workforce. Setting up a revolution culture, handling change management, developing a revolution strategy and; jumping the skills-gap will all be addressed.
