Sensors & Connectivity Improvements for Transfer Die Applications
In a transfer press line, issues with pin connectors, properly seated blanks and gripping of parts can cause damage to the transfer, the die set or press. Integrating sensors in the die, gripping of parts and improvements in connectivity will be discussed through real-world case studies. Also, the benefits of a connected transfer press will be considered in the context of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), robotic transfers and factory automation.
