An Essential Overview: Spinal Pain In Adolescents - DC CE (Room Standard Process Student Activity Center)

06 Oct 18
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Tracks: Women's Health & Pediatrics

This seminar will draw on contemporary research to provide a high-level overview of the epidemiology, treatment, and prevention of spinal pain in adolescents. Attention will be drawn to important aspects of study design and the current state of the evidence, including the quality of evidence, knowledge gaps, and inconsistent study results. Spinal pain will be discussed in the context of transitions in spinal health, during adolescence and along the life course. In this regard, the talk will contextualize work from collaborators at The Centre for Pain Health and Lifestyle (centrephl.org/), to the overarching seminar theme, ParkerFIT.
