How PCM Links Sustainability to Profitability

Precision Conservation Management (PCM) is a program led by the Illinois Corn Growers Association designed to help farmers better understand and manage financial, management and labor risks associated with adopting conservation practices. The program serves 15 counties in Illinois and 10 counties in western Kentucky. Our targeted resource concerns are water quality and soil loss. PCM is a partnership effort represented by 30 partners from across the agricultural supply chain including commodity groups, conservation groups, ag tech companies and foundations. PCM provides PCM Specialists who work directly with PCM farmers to help them understand their current sustainability strengths and weaknesses.
