Alison Brayman is an Assistant Chief Engineer of Signals and Communications at CP Rail. Her presentation will take a look at what CP has done to update testing processes within Signals and Communications (S&C) that had virtually been identical for decades prior to the creation of a testing and commissioning (T&C) division. The presentation will cover some of the changes and why they were needed, as well as the hardships that accompany changing processes and practices that have been in place for extended periods of time. It will also include a few of the solutions and learnings that T&C have experienced, as they have integrated into the S&C processes and culture at CP.
