After the prestigious awards are handed out at the Annual Awards luncheon and many deserving achievers are honored, what will the Society do for an encore? Introduce its special luncheon keynote presenter, Vernice “FlyGirl” Armour.
Known simply as “FlyGirl,” Armour will take the stage with “You HAVE Permission to Engage—CLEARED HOT!”
As a U.S. Marine, FlyGirl became America’s First African-American Female Combat Pilot. Her important mission at Cable-Tec Expo®? Inspire SCTE•ISBE and its members—like countless other organizations and individuals since 2007—to make gutsy moves and create breakthrough results.
FlyGirl’s impressive clientele includes Comcast, SHRM (Society of Human Resource Management), Pepsi, Boeing, Delta, IBM, Lockheed Martin, WICT, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Known for her edgy style and contagious energy, she has appeared on CNN, MSNBC, The View, FOX News, Oprah Winfrey, and more!
