ArcelorMittal's 1964 vintage #2 Continuous Galvanizing Line at Indiana Harbor was upgraded in 2018 to provide for increased production and access to new markets. Almost every part of the line was improved. Major new equipment included line drives, roll coater, welder, air knives, leveler, inspection system, pre-melt pot, and after pot cooling. The project was approved in March 2017 and construction was completed in September 2018.
