This paper focuses on technological process and characteristics of the Yieh Phui annealing line. CISDI built a large-sized continuous annealing line for Yieh Phui (China) by assuming technological leadership, the first construction mode by a Chinese engineering company. The Yieh Phui annealing line was designed for producing annually 520,000 metric tons of SEDDQ and 780 MPa-grade steel products. It also elaborates CISDI’s research and development and industrial application of high-strength continuous annealing technology based on this line.
