As we wait for the SCOTUS ruling on Sports betting, there is a, flurry of legislative activity in states across the country to pass sports betting bills. Meanwhile, gaming and sports organizations are considering their book investments and roll-out strategies. This session will look beyond the hype at the economics and profitability of sports betting in various roll-out scenarios and regulatory frameworks, with the inclusion of a possible integrity fees.
With particular focus on tribal business models, and tribal-state compacts, this session will review potential regulatory issues, partnerships and investment options to make an informed decision on whether sports betting is the right avenue for tribal governments to pursue to grow their revenues and keep giving back to their communities.
