Participants will learn how to avoid enforcement actions through compliance. The Course will give participants an overview of the requirements of IGRA and how non-compliance with one or more of these requirements can be a violation of IGRA. Participants will learn what happens when an IGRA violation is identified by the NIGC. The Course provides an overview of the NIGC’s enforcement process; the remedies available to the NIGC for a violation of IGRA; and the steps that can be taken by a tribe or 3rd party to overcome an IGRA violation and avoid an enforcement action.
