Acute knee injuries are a common source of pain and dysfunction in our patients, and if overlooked may result in chronic functional impairment. The complexity of the joint results in a lengthy differential list for knee pain. This lecture will focus predominately on the clinical presentations, orthopedic assessments, and imaging evaluations of acute meniscal and ligament injuries.
