HFMA Annual Conference 2018

Digital Health Solutions: Health System Disruptor or Enabler? (Room Bellini)

Tinkering with digital is insufficient.  Organization’s that aren't mobilizing the entire enterprise to embrace digital transformation are putting themselves at a significant strategic disadvantage (from both industry incumbents and new entrants alike).  This session will examine three digital trends observed by AVIA's work with 30+ health system innovation centers across the United States and the UK.

1. Emergence of high impact digital solutions is accelerating, but there is a lot of "signal noise"...how can busy health system leaders move beyond the hype to realizing the hope of new technologies?

2. Digitally-powered disruptors and enablers are emerging and the field of play is shifting from B2B to B2C...how should health systems respond to newly emerging tech-enabled competitors and collaborators?

3. Acting on the digital imperative...how can leaders catalyze digital transformation efforts that radically improve the performance and reach of the organization (while preventing "bright shiny object syndrome")?
