Surgical Innovation Lab Demo: Anatomy-Conserving LLIF Using a Novel, Deployable Device and MIS Tubular Retractor (Spineology Inc.) (Room The Learning Place, Green Lab)

Spineology’s new Duo™ Lateral Lumbar Interbody Fusion system is designed to minimize the amount and duration of retraction on the neural structures and surrounding soft tissues, both of which have been implicated in the post-operative complications commonly associated with the lateral approach.

The Duo Implant is the first of its kind. By combining PEEK, titanium, and graft-containment mesh elements, the implant can be placed through a much smaller access window than traditional lateral devices. Once placed, the Duo Implant is filled with bone graft in situ to create a large, endplate-conforming, load-sharing graft pack that can reach up to 30mm in width.

This two-hour session will be moderated by experienced physician faculty and will include a brief overview of the System and demonstration of its use at multiple levels in a cadaveric model.

Due to limited space, this event is invitation only.  Please contact training@spineology.com or 651-408-5267 to be invited.
