Fumigation is critical to the grain industry, but it can be a overwhelming and complex process for facilities in Canada. With limited products, weather restrictions and strict regulations, managing a successful fumigation often presents as a challenge. Attempts at solutions, such as creating new products, come with time constrictions, and oftentimes old products have difficult boundary zones. In this session, learn how a good management plan can overcome many of these challenges and what new laws effect fumigation management programs. Attendees will discover what products are available in Canada, what products are appropriate for use and how laws and regulations regarding fumigations impact import and export.
