Clear communications are key to successful project completion.  Learn how Dispute Boards can enhance and support your project team by facilitating discussions among project participants to reduce conflict and to minimize adverse impacts on complex projects. Unlike mediation, arbitration, and litigation, Dispute Boards offer the project team members a safe forum to evaluate options for modifying future activities. In this session, panel members share their experience with dispute board practices that successfully enabled project teams to address unplanned changes in project conditions, as well as discussing practices that were not so effective.

Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Understand regular professional communications between the project team members in a confidential setting, during the progress of the work encourages early and real-time resolution of disputes arising from unforeseen events.
