PC2 How Women Rise: Helping Women Break the Habits that Hold Them Back (Room Encore Ballroom 8)

10 Dec 18
1:00 PM - 2:30 PM

In this program, Sally will draw from her recent bestseller, How Women Rise, which she co-authored with No. 1 ranked executive coach Marshall Goldsmith. The book identifies the 12 habits or behaviors most likely to get in the way of successful women as they seek to rise in their organizations, firms or sectors.

Each of these behaviors is rooted in a specific strength, and many of them serve women well in the early stages of their careers. Yet the same behaviors that women come to rely on and believe are required for success may undermine them as they move to higher levels.

Knowing how to spot these habits can be helpful to women at every stage, either in their own careers or as mentors for other women. But this information also has great value for men. Men seeking to become more savvy and effective peers, colleagues, leaders, teammates, mentors, coaches and supporters of talented women will benefit from what they learn.

Both female and male participants will come away from this program with powerful and actionable ways to serve as a resource for spurring greater female engagement and unleashing the full potential of aspiring women leaders.
