Whether auditor or auditee, everyone should have an understanding an appreciation for the standards that give direction to the auditing and accountability profession. Sam will cover standards for the professional practice of internal auditing, including the Institute of Internal Auditors’ Red Book and the Government Auditing Standards Yellow Book. He will provide a background of each organization and on overview, comparison, and the applicability of the standards.
