Staffing Roles and Responsibilities (Room WI Center 102 C)

WASB Organizational consultants work as partners with school districts to build and strengthen trust between school board members and administrators as they work to provide excellence in education. One method that has proven helpful is to provide an assessment of the roles and responsibilities of staff utilizing a matrix developed specifically for school districts. This process can include a review and analysis of current districtwide and detailed central office department organizational charts and job descriptions as well as a review of current district organizational structures and reporting relationships. This session will outline the process, provide an overview of the matrix and discuss how it can be used to update staffing levels and position descriptions.
