The traditional, one-size-fits-all approach of the 7-8 period day and the block schedule does not allow for flexibility to meet the individual needs of teachers, students or curricula. At Pulaski High School, we have implemented the Flexible Modular Schedule that we feel better serves our school community. We will provide the reasons to move to the Flex-Mod system, preparation for a year-one roll out, steps in the overall scheduling process, the necessary technology, the overall advantages and the challenges.
