Understanding the WI High School Accountability Report Card (Room WI Center 103 DE)

24 Jan 19
10:45 AM - 11:45 AM

Tracks: Student Achievement

This session will focus on the nuances of why high school report cards are often very different from those in elementary and middle schools. Guided inquiry through the accountability process at the high school level will allow participants to understand all the factors that make the high school report card different. Case studies will be provided to show the impact that the ACT assessment, sub-group performance and graduation rates of all students can have on the data. A rich discussion of the new report card metrics required by the state that measure college and career readiness will conclude this interactive data session.
