Tracks: Community Engagement
Four Wisconsin school districts are on the cutting edge of making significant changes in shifting from traditional parent involvement activities to effectively engaging families in school partnerships. They will share their experiences implementing parent/teacher teams using the resources provided by a partnership between the Department of Public Instruction and WestEd. Learn the process used to change the adult mindset in deepening family/teacher relationships while working collaboratively to make gains in student learning and student achievement outcomes.
