The establishment of vibrant community partnerships, leveraged to provide authentic experiences for students, is a vital part of ensuring life-, career-, and college-ready graduates. Over the last three years, the Franklin Public School District has engaged in a strategic effort to build partnerships with businesses, industries and higher education. Thanks to these efforts, Franklin High School students engaged in more than 1,000 unique career-based learning experiences in the 2017-18 school year, including youth apprenticeships, credited internships, job shadows and mentorship opportunities with 120 active partners.
